AR.VHURA F‘AT STOCK SALE \V. JEFFRIES AND ( O.’S REPORT. Yesterday’s entry at the above yards comprised 58 head of very prime cattle on account of Messrs Sullivan Bros., of Wuheka. There was an average attendance of buyers and competition was spirited throughout. Heavy ox beef made from 3Ss to 42s per hundred, lighter sorts from Sits to 37s Cd, prime heifer beef from 35s to 38s per hundred. We sold as follows: U.i account of Messrs Sullivan Bros 3 bullocks at £ls 17s «d. 2 at £ls ss, 2 at £l4 17s till. 2 at £l4. 2 at £l2 17s Cd, 4 at £l3 10s, 3 at. £l2 12s (Id, ft at £l2 10s, 3 at £l2 ss, 2 at £ll 17s Cd. 1 heifer at,£l2 12s Gil, 2 at £ll Us Gd, 3 at £ll ss. 2 at £lO 12s Gd, 4 at £lO 10s, 2 at £lO ss, 2 at £lO 10s, 2 at £lO 7s Gd 2 at £lO, 4 at £9 12s Gd, 1 cow at £l2 15s, 1 at £ll 7s Gd, 1 £lO 2s Gd ; on account of Ah' It. Olderog 3 steers at £3 7s Gd.
Messrs M. Houston and Co. report: Our entry at the usual fortnightly sale at the above yards on Monday consisted of 42 head of fat cattle which were submitted to a good attendance of buyers. The hulk of the entry was comprised of well-finished medium weight bullocks and heifers, which realized from 37s Gel to 40s per hundred. We sold as follows:—On account of Messrs F. G. Williams and Sons, 3 bullocks at £l3, 2 at £ls ss, 2at £l3 ss, 2 at £l4 12s Gd, 3 heifers at £ll 10s, 2 at £ll 2s Gd, 2 at £l2 17s Gd, 2 heifers at £lO, 3 at £9 12s Gd, 3 bullocks at £l2 2s Gd, 2 heifers at £lo' 17s Gd, 3 at £ll ss.
