Doeg and Lott, the U.S.A- Davis Cup alternates, defeated Cocliot and Brugnon o—3, 3—o, o—3, 2—6, 9—7. Then John Hennesy and Lueien Williams defeated Borotra and Lacoste o—3. 6—2, o—4. LONDON, Sept. 2.
“Jumbo” Nuthall, Betty’s brother, won the Surrey junior tennis championship.
