TRAIN SMASH. BERLIN, July 13. Eight persons were killed and 22 injured in a railway accident in the Hnrtz Mountains yesterday afternoon. During a terrific thunderstorm the mountain streams were greatly swollen and formed a raging torrent, which swept all before it. The stream'undermined part of the railway embankment at Thumkullertal, between Hasserode and Boeschung, and the driver cf the ill-fated train could have had no idea that the track had become merely a thin layer of track over a yawning chasm. The engine dragging with it a goods wagon and passenger eoach was precipitated into the flood. The current, was so strong that some of the victims of the accident were carried along 1.000 yards by it.
