(By Telegraph—Per Press Association. LINER REFLOATED. SYDNEY, Aug. 28. The latest report, received last night, from the steamer Riverina, stated that the vessel was refloated. THE RIVERINA. SYDNEY, Aug. 29. The reported floating of the Riverina requires confirmation. MAHENO HOLD-UP. SYDNEY, Aug. 29. The Maherio position is unchanged. It i.s hoped to get the vessel away tomorrow. It is officially stated on beliall of the company that if the strikers persist in their attitude, action will be taken against them to-morrow on charges firstly, for refusing duty, and, secondly, being absent without leave. DRAWN TEST GAME. BRISBANE, Aug. 28. In the hockey test match at the Exhibition, between Australia and New Zealand, the result surprised the followers of the game here, who anticipated victory for the New Zealanders, but the Australians gave an excellent display, and the match was drawn with three goals each. The game was free and open, the fortunes varying throughout, and issue being alwavs in doubt.
