The New Zealand Dairy Produce Board has received the following market report from the London Vgtmcy dated August 19th, prices for the previous week being mention'll in parentheses : BUTTER. New Zealand: Salted, 166 s to 172 s (108 s to 1725); unsalted, 172 s to 1765, up to 178 s (172 sto 1765). August generally is a poor selling month. The forward position is sound. Australian: Salted, 106 sto 170 s (16ns to 170 s); unsalted, 166 s to 17-ls (168 s to 1745). Argentine: Finest unsalted, 166-s to 170 s (166 s to 170 s). Irish Creamery: Salted, 162 s to 164 s (160 s to 1625) ; unsalted, 166 s to 168 s (166 s to 168 s). Dutch: Salted, 170 s (168 sto 170 s). E-sthonian: Salted, 163 sto 160 s, (160 s to 1625) ; unsalted, 170 s to 172 s (164 s to 168 s). Latvian: Unsalted. 164 s (1645). Siberian: 144 s to 146 s (142 s to 148 s). Danish: 175 s to 176 s (1765). There is better German demand. Retail prices are: Danish Is 9d, New Zealand Is Bd. CHEESE. New Zealand wjiite and coloured: 90s to 93s (92s to 945). The market is continuing quiet, but firm. Canadian white and coloured : 92-s to 94s (92s to 935). The estimated Canadian production is down 25 per cent this season. English: Finest farmers, 112 s to 116 s (112 s to 116 s). The retail price of New Zealand cheese is Is.
