WEDDING BEILS

A wedding look place on Monday. August 22nd. at St .Mary’s Church, when Miss Aileen Hansen, youngest daughter of Air Peter Hanson, of TTnrihnri, was married to YD- Dan Roberts, of Mount Honor, South Westland. The bride looking charming in a frock of soft- blue r-repe-de-chine with hat lo match and a beautiful fox fur, was attended by Miss Sue Bawden. who wore a dainty frock and hat of a sweet shade of green. The hostess. Miss TTarisen, also was very daintily gowned in rose eharmelaine. The

tridegroom was supported by Air Tom I’oohey who performed the duties of best man most efficiently, and the Revd. Father O’Doherty, of Boss, was the officiating priest. After 11 io church service the bridal unity attended hy many friends and relations adjourned to Preston’s Tea Rooms where they were entertained iy Air and Miss Hansen. Numerous masts were honoured and coiigratulat>ry telegrams were received from many ibsent friends, and after a very pleasmt hour the bride and bridegroom

left hy motor for Greymoiith on route to Christchurch where the honeymoon is to he spent. Air and Mrs Roberts have the best wishes of tho whole community as they are both well known and liked for many sterling qualities. The bride was the recipient of many beautiful presents including a travelling rug and a string of pearls from the bridegroom. The bridegroom’s present to the bridesmaid was a beautiful pearloid toilet set.
