From Ivokatabi Club asking the Excelsior Jl-Kokatalii game lie re-played on account of time set down being unsuitable.—Received. It was resolved to refer the fetter to Excelsior I! team with a request that the wishes be agreed to.
From W.C .R.U. asking for explanation from a player.—Received. It was rosol’ved to forward on the explanation uf the player.
From Buller Rugby Union, asking for guarantee for mateli at Hokitika.—Received; action taken approver I. Tlic President made a statement in regard to a visit of a Canterbury team but said their letter had not yet come to band, though the Christchurch morning papers had stated the tour was arranged. It was resolved to ask the Mayor to proclaim a half holiday for nest Saturday atfernoon. It was further resolved to adjourn the present meeting until Wednesday evening to allow receipt of letter from the CM?.IT. It was resolved to issue a challenge lor the Dittman Shield to Inangahua the date not to clash with West Const rep. fixtures Accounts as scheduled were passed for payment. Tt was resolved that all matches for next Saturday he set down on Wednesday evening, the meeting then adjourning till 8 p.m. on that day.
CANTERBURY R. FIFTEEN. team fob, west coast. The following Canterbury- Tt. representative team has been picked for the West Coast trip. The team will leave lor the Coast on Thursday morning.
