The County Clerk stated that threequarters of the Company’s timber leases were on mining reserves, which now were State Forestry reserves, and the 'Council roceiml only one-tenth instead of the whole royalty. On the motion of Cr. .T. Ryall. it was resoiYed to ask the AYestland County Council to co-operate with the Grey County in securing the amendments to the Forestry Act.
