This was a very pleasing feature indeed. Convent A sang an original composition “ A\ cstland,” the words being composed in Dunedin, and the

music by a Sister of the local Convent. The number had a very hearty reception, going with a fine swing. The Woodstock school sang very pleasingly, and Convent B also pleased the audience. The platings were:—Convent A. 1 Woodstock School 2, Convent B 3. Classic Dance (concerted) senior girls one entry. This number was very acceptable to tlu> audience, the ten girls all deporting themselves quite artistically.
