WELLINGTON, Aug. 22
K. Anderson (Palmerston North) retained his title of the professional heavyweight wrestling championship of New Zealand to-night, by defeating Joe Duffy (Hamilton). Anderson secured a fall in the second bout, with a body scissors 'hold, and finished the contest by securing another fail in the sixth bout, with a half-nelson and scissors hold. Th u. was an attendance of about 600. Anderson weighed 1841bs. N. Norton (12st. 1011ns) defeat Lack (list. 7lbs.) in a professional bout. The Rnglisliman proved clever in defence, but did all the leading, and won on points.
