RICHARD DIX WEXDKSDAY

\ cr.satile Mr Mix. Such would seem io be the topical adjective used when describing Paramount’s likeable star. Richard made his first real bid for iilm lame m a drama, Hall Caine’s “ The ( hiistian. ’ As the young minister, Dix reached histrionic heights, which had never before been touched. A few years later, he switched to comedy, starting with “Macing Hearts” mid culminating in such productions as “The Shock Punch” and “A Man Must Live.” Cast as the hero in “ The Vanishing American,” Dix gave a performance which was described by the critics as being nothing less than “ sublime, marvellous and majestic.” .Since the last-named picture, he has cut himself a niche in the comedy hall of fame. Dix was a sensation in “ V omnnhandled,” a young riot in “Let's Get. Married,” and Paramount prophesies all sorts of nice things for his latest. “ Say Tt Again,” which will' he shown at the Princess Theatre on Wednesday. Alyce Mills and Chester Conklin head the supporting east in the star’s new opus. The same man who made Dix’s last two comedies, Gregory La Cava, directed. The latest in topienls and a good comedy will also he shown on Wednesday.
