The New Zealand Dairy Board has received the following market repoit from the London Agency, dated August 12th, prices for the previous week being mentioned in parentheses: — BUTTER. New Zealand, salted 168 sto 172 s (10-ls to ICRs) ; unsalted, 1725-17 Gs up id 180 s (IGBb to 11 Os). The market is quiet owing to some profit taking on re-sal oh, hut the position is good with . fcirm undertone. Australian finest, salted IGGs to 170 s (162 s to IGG), unsalteil 108 s to (164 sto IGGs). Argentine finest, salted 164 s to 108 s (164 s to 1665). Irish creamery, suited 160 s to 162 s (156 s to 1625), unsalted 166 s to 168 s (160 s to 1665). Dutch, unsalted 168 s to 170 s (160 s to 1625.
Esthoninn, salted 160 s to 162 s (158 s to 160 s), unsalted, 164 s to 168 s (160 s to 164 s). Latvian, salted 159 s to 102 s (156 s to 160 s), unsalted 164 s (1625). Siberian, 142 s to 148 s, according to quality (138 s to 1425). Danish, 176 s (166 s to 168 s). Retail prices are: Danish advancing to Is 9d Monday. Colonial is unchanged at Is Bd. CHEESE. New Zealand white and coloured, 92s to 94s (91s to 935). The market is quiet but steady. Canadian white and coloured, 92s to 95s (92s to 945). Cheese is now quoted at 93s ei.f.. hut there is uo business, English finest farmers, 112 s to 116 s (108 s to 114 s). Retail prices are unchanged.
