INCREASE IN WOOL.
SYDNEY, Aug. 12. According to the estimate of the Government Statistician, 495.820.000 bounds of greasv wool were produced in New South AYales during the year ended 30th June. This is 91.163,090 pounds, or 22.$ per cent greater than the previous record total reached in 1911. The value of the clip is estimated at £35.237,000 which is £<l4,(XX) less than the record value realised in 1921-25. The sheep and lambs shorn numbered 51.880,000.
