The promoters of the contest require your aiti to assist them in making the choice, and per medium of a voting card supplied nightly to every ticket holder you may record a vote for your favourite candidate. The task is not an easy one, for every province lias put forward two girls of outstanding beauty and charm, and it will call for a most careful consideration on the part of every voter before a decision is made, and the vote cast. The Finalists arrived by the 9.25 train to-day and are staying at Keller’s in charge of a chaperon, who travels with them. Hokitika has the opportunity for the first lime to see for itself the Dominion’s ten fairest daughters—. Miss Auckland. Miss Woffington. .Miss Canterbury, Miss Otago, and Miss Southland, and their Maids of Honor. They will appear in person, in stage and screen tests at the Princess Theatre. In conjunction with the above the great Paramount special picture " The l’ony Express " will also be shown. The leading stars will include Hetty Compsou. Ricardo Cortex. Ernest Torrance, and Wallace Heery. The box plans at Mclntosh's are tilling rapidly, and intending patrons are urged to secure their reservation immediate! v.
