BY TELEGEAPH —rEESS ASSX., COPYEICIIT. -N.Z MARE’S COLT MAKES A NAME. LONDON. Aug. 2. The New Zealander, Air J. B. Reid’s two-year-old colt, Black AVatch, by Black Gauntlet —Punka, which is the winner of the thirteen hundred sovereigns Aloleeomb Stakes at Goodwood, has been engaged tor the Derby and the Grand Prix. This is the first progeny of a colonial-bred mare to run in England.
