A GREAT INVENTION. BERLIN, Aug. 2.

Denes Von Mehaly, a young Hungarian consulting engineer, to the German General Electric Coy., with forty-eight inventions to his credit, has perfected a remarkable apparatus whereby everything that is broadcasted will be rendered visible on a screen approximately nine feet hy sixteen feet.

He is negotiating on the London market for the money finally to launch it. He declares ho expects that in 1928 the set- will be selling in England at the price of a two-valve receiver. It, will enable people to see cinemas, plays, tennis matches and boxing contests. together with the incidental words and sounds.

The invention is based on the same principle as that of wireless telephony, therefore Von Mehaly anticipates that it will be possible to relay seeing-in programmes the same as sound Broadcasting.
