From Ross Ci'uh notifying a cup had been received from .Mr Mc.Mullan and asking for date to be fixed lor sevenaside tournament. —Received. it was resolved to bold the seven-aside at Ross on August 13th, nominations to close , next Monday evening. Nominations for the junior knockout competition were received from Kokatahi, Excelsiors and Eimu teams. The draw resulted:— August (i.—Rinm v. Excelsiors at Hokitika; Kokatahi a hye. Ah- .McGregor moved that a deputation of members of the Rub-Union wait on the W.C.R.U. to discuss the question of a more even distribution ot representative matches at Hokitika. Seconded by -Mr Cutbush and carried. It was resolved the junior representative match he played on August 20th. instead of as a curtain raiser to the Ashburton match. No eight-stone competition matches were set down tor this week. The selectors were instructed to select a senior Westland representative team to pi'ay Ashburton and also the juniors to piny Grevmouth at Hokitika.
