Fokker plane, successfully took off from a runaway on the deck of the Leviathan 150 miles out to sea, demonstrating the feasibility of using planes to expedite fast mails between U.S.A. and Europe, thus saving forty-eight hours. United States lines have declared their intention of providing similar runaways on various other vessels, as a result of the success of this experiment.
