(Australian it N.Z. Cable Association.) CHAMBERLAIN’S EXPERIMENT. (Received this day at 9.30 a.m.) NEW YORK, Aug. 1. Chamberlain flying in a. Fokker plane, successfully took off from a runaway on the deck of the Leviathan 150 miles out to sea, demonstrating the feasibility of using planes to expedite fast mails between U.S.A. and Europe, thus saving forty-eight hours. United States lines have declared their intention of providing similar runaways on various other vessels, as a result of the success of this experiment.

Sir Esine Howard (British Ambassador) interviewed Air Kellog (Secretary of State) to-day. The Embassy officials said the meeting was merely 'for the purpose of keeping in touch with the Administration hero. ADVICE TO CANADA. OTTAWA. Aug. 2. Sir Hugh Denis m addressing the Canadian Club, Vancouver, counselled Canada to follow Australia’s not United States immigration, policy, to ensure a virile nordie racial stock. He quoted Dr. Lothrop Stoddnrt as saying that Western Canada and Australia were the last countries left for the expansion of the white race.
