It is told with refreshing difference and unfaltering interest, and many novel and hilarious situations are introduced. The combination of plausible plot and clean humour makes the picture the fast word in screen entertainment, and its gripping interest is heightened by a delightful romance and tense dramatic moments. Infectious comedy riots throughout, and this story of the romantic adventures of a girl who rebelled against society’s conventions will appeal to all fans. “ Don’t” affords Sally O’Neil a further opportunity of appearing before a public that has shown the greatest appreciation ot her unusual beauty, piquant personality and marvellous screen ability. Her exceptional understanding of technique and marked histrionic talent, assure her of early stardom. Tn her rolo as the college girl she is irresistible and adorable. .Miss O’Neil is a typical flapper, and lias all the roguishness of her kind. Again she exhibits the flair for comedy work that provided so much fun in “ Mike,” “ Sally, Irene and Mary.” and " The Auction Block.” John Patrick has the leading masculine roi'e as the girl’s sweetheart, and gives an excellent performance. Rut it is I’ert Roach as the bibulous uncle who steals the male honours, lie is excrutintingly funny, and his absurd antics provoke endless mirth. Screen snapshots, a topical and a comedy will complete a fine programme to-night.
