A FARM TRAGEDY. SYDNEY, July 28
While at tea on the farm at Gulcroiig, with her twelve-year old soil, and with a farmer. Arthur .Morton, for whom she acted as housekeeper. Airs Lily Taylor was shot dead by Morton, who then committed suicide. Afrs Taylor’s son had left the table and was sitting by the fire, and a few minutes later .Morton went from the room. On hearing a nofso at the lab a the boy looked round, and he saw Aforton. pointing a ride at his mother. Aforton immediately tired the gun, and Airs Taylor 101 l dead. The hoy then ran for assistance. When he returned he found the bodies of Airs Taylor and Morton lying side by side. Morton had apparently dragged his victim’s body from the table, placed a pillow under her head, and lay beside her. Then lie. put the muzzle of the rifle in his mouth and blow the top of nis head off.
