When Boakcs appeared in the Magistrate’s Court this afternoon, lie was elm rged : (1) That be did, on or about June 15th. 1927. murder Ellen Gwendoline Isobcl Scarff. (2) That, on or about May Ifitli. 1927 lie did unlawfully supply a noxious thing (to wit, ergot) to Ellen Gwendoline I solid Scarff, knowing that the same was intended to be unlawfully used, with intent to procure a miscarriage. lioakos was remanded till August •Ith.
