LEAGUE FOOTBALL
SYDNEY, July 27. A meeting of the New South AVales Rugby League Committee decided not to entertain the proposal of the New Zealand League that the Australian Board of Control’ should invite New Zealand to send a team**to play in Sydney in September, with matches to follow in Queensland.
It was also decided to ask New Zealand League if it were agreeable to send two delegates to the next meeting of the Australian Hoard of Control, their expenses to he borne equally by New South AVales, Queensland and New Zealand. The meeting will discuss the question of a visit of an English team to Australasia next season, and the game generally in Australia and New Zeai’nad.
