AUCKLAND, July 23. The fourth soccer tost match, played on Carlaw Park, this afternoon, resulted in a victory for Canada by four goals to oiYe. Them* was -a record attendance for a soccer match. the crowd being estimated at twenty-three thousand. The ground was very soft, and was hadlv churned up as the game progressed. Drizzling rain fell to wards the end of the match. The takings at yesterday’s soccer test wore estimated at twelve hundred pounds. Community singing at the match was led by the Rev Jasper Colder, and the crowd subscribed sixty-seven pounds for bis city mission hinds. SYDNEY, July 24. In the final Soccer test.. China versus Australia, at Newcastle, the game was drawn, 1-1.
