Tho match for tlje Seddon Shield, between West Coast and Nelson, takes place at. Nelson tomorrow. A ear load of football supporters left this morning for Nelson to view Ihe game. Ihe home teinn will probably have little difficulty in retaining the trophy. The only fixture on Cass Square tomorrow is Excelsior B v. Rimu at 3, o'clock.

At a meeting of the North Otago Referees’ Association to-night, the following resolution was carried : “That this Association lakes strong exception to the action of the Hawke’s Bay and AVairarnpa Rugby Unions in failing to support Referee McKenzie in the action he took against two players in the recent Ranfurly Shield match.” A copy of the resolution is to lie sent to the Referees’ Association and the AA’airarapa Referees’ Association.
