OTAGO CHAMPIONS!! I PS. BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSN., COPYRIGHT. DUNEDIN. July 21. The Otago Amateur Boxing Championship finals were decided last night, and resulted:—Heavyweight. J. W. Leckie was the only competitor who took part in a no-decision contest; middle, R. Anderson beat A. H. Wilkinson; welter, S. Hughes beat M. S. Davies; in the fight-weight class, R. Fulcher gave a great exhibition in defeating H. W. Davis; feather-weight, W. G. Leckie (brother of John N. Y. Leckie, the professional), easily outpointed M. Rowe; bantam-weight, W. A. Parker was the only competitor; fly-weight. H. Hughes received very doubtful decision against E..M. Rix.
