The Full Court consisting of Justices SkerreU. Reed and McGregor is hearing A. E. Sayres v. Hudson’s pioneer motor service. The defendant runs a motor service between 'Wanganui and New Plymouth, and was charged with picking up passengers in Stratford without a license, under that Borough’s by-law. The Company contended that they had a heavy traffic license as well as an ordinary motor license and Wanganui license which gave them the right to use any road. The Borough Council contended none ol them over-rode the right of Boroughs to make special regulations for their own traffic and Mr Tates SAT. upheld them.

From this conviction the Company appeals and the judgment of the Full Court will l>o final. The ease is of importance as if the S.M.’s decision is supported, every .service ear will have to register under the by-laws in every town through which it passes, and pay lees accordingly. For the appellants, Hi Myers K.C. and Mr Cunningham ; for tlie respondent, Mr Martin. Decision was reserved.
