YIENNA. May JO. It lias just been disclosed in ail appeal by Frau Adele Strauss, widow oi the “ Waltz-King.” Johann Strauss, against assessment for incohic tax in 1925, that tbe royalties paid upon bis works, especially bis opera “The Bat.” (Eledermaus) ami tbe famous waltzes, amounted to schilling, considerably more than L'G.(HK). On technical grounds the Supreme Court confirmed previous decisions and ordered her to pay.
