Tolley was the most successful amateur with 73. Kirkwood is fairly safe with 75. Australia, had a had day in the Open Golf Championship at St. Andrew's. Met-tlcford was in jeopardy with her eighty, on the borderline, but steady since and with 10 in two rounds, is expected to qualify. Roberts is still worse. His only 1: >r ‘ of entering the final is an exceptional round to-morrow. He was unfortunate in the short game and lost several green shots though Ills driving was good.
