Two arrests have been made in Cork City in connection with liie Queenstown shooting in 1915 when armed men fired on a party of British soldiers landing from Spike Island, killing one and wounding others. THE LYING IN STATE. DUBLIN, July 12. There were remarkable scenes at ttie lying-in-state of the 'fate Mr Kevin O’Higgins. Twenty thousand people had passed by the coffin by ten o’clock, and still there was a queue a mile long waiting.
