(Australian & X.Z. Cable Association.) TRAIN HITS ELEPHANTS. NEW YORK. July 11. A message from Aurora. Illinois, states: A passenger train crashed into a herd of six circus elephants at a crossing here on Sunday morning. One elephant was knocked to the ground and killed, crushing to death his trainer. The other elephants threw their l iders and stampeded. Three of them were not recaptured in two hours.
