The Chinese represent .sit ive has notified the Secretariat of the Longue of Nations that lie is resignin'; from the League Council 1 , as he lias decided to join the Chinese Nationalist Government. The Pekin Government, therefore. has now no representative at Geneva. When Pekin recalled its diplomats from Kuropo, .Mr Clin went to Genvea. and lie ha- been representing the Pekin Covemnent at hi- own expense.

ARMAMENTS. (Received this day at a.m.) GENEVA, July 8. An agreement has been reached on the size of guns and the age limit for destroyers, large submarines and auxiliary craft. There is no agreement regarding cruisers and small submarines.
