When the war .struck the world he joined the Royal l iving Corps and lierame a living ofiieer. It was Ins duty to make observations over the enemy lines. Four times he crushed behind enemy lines and each time he managed to creep through the lines rn the liritish trenches and got hack i safely to the flying field with vai'uahle information. Ilarrie also has to Ins credit three enemy planes. When the war was over Ilarrie played with UFA. the big film producing company of Berlin. and recently came to Hollywood to renew his pre-war acquaintances.
