WEST coast rugby union. The weekly meeting of the W.( .H.U. was held last evening at Greymnutii. .\ letter was received from the Xew Zealand Union re players reverting to tli League code, and it was decided to write giving the posted players, fourteen days in which to reply why they should not be expelled. A’ letter was received from the Ashburton County Union accepting a. match in Orel mouth on I,3th August and llokifika on 17tli August. Xortli Otago .Rugby Union wrote in reference to an invitation of a tour next season, advising they would give the matter every consideration. A letter was received from the Xew Zealand Union re the .Maori tour itinerary, giving full details of the financial arrangements.

The lluller Union wrote submitting relcrees’ names for next Saturday, and ii was resolved to accept Mr 11. Casey to act.

Mr A. A. Adams was appointed manager for the Buffer match, while Mr J. Met leary was appointed captain of the ( oast team and Mr T. Burley vice-cap-tain.
