A CENTENARIAN PASSES. LEVIN, July I he death occurred last night, of Airs Jane Bradley in her 101st. year. She was horn on loth. August. 1829 at Oruhelilie. (.'unity Sligo. Ireland, and came to New Zealand 71 years ago. She lived in Central Otago and Oamnru where she married 91 years ago. She settled at Levin in 1897, taking up one of the original (iovern.nient sections on which she resided till her death.

Glenn in resigning bis position as junior Government Whip in order to obtain a greater freedom in the House. The following resolution was carried unanimously:—That, this meeting of delegates of various committees of RatlgiLikei electorate desires to place on record its appreciation of the ogod work done by Mr Glenn during the last, eight years amf lo assure him of their complete confidence in him, believing he will do’ his best in the interests of the electorate and party.
