I urner. of Christchurch (Secretary ot the New Zealand (lull Club Association), ltdgar Stead (President of the mum body), and Dick A rust, emii of whom had killed twenty birds in a 21 bird mate’s. Hie four linn lists divided the stake.
In the shoot off for the title. Arnst and Stead fell out at the sixth, and Turner at the ninth bird, leaving Dobson the winner. Stead was unlucky, for. with twenty birds on. his last bird fell dead only a few feet outside the houudarv. Had this bird fallen to his credit, he would have had a clear cut win with the only possible score in t.lie championship.
