(By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, June 25. In connection with the Burwood murder, this afternoon there was a discovery of a blood-stained overcoat. Tliis stimulated the police to make a further search of the scene of the murder.

A reporter found three pieces of blood-stained rag, like cheese cloth, and lie handed tlie rag to a detective. Tlie police -state that there is no doubt that the stains on tlie overcoat ml tlie ci'oths are bloodstains.
