BOXING.

SYDNEY. June 23. At the Stadium, Beg. Trowern (10.1) outpointed Sid Buxton (9.13) (England) in a fifteen rounds contest, which was fought at a fast rate throughout. The Englishman was badly punished. Trowern forced tho fight from the commencement but tired alter the twelfth round. Buxton was floored twice in the second, but recovered and louglit back. The tenth was a terrific round. Trowern attacked strongly hut Buxton made a good stand and steadied the New Zealander with a right and left to the head. From the twelfth, when the New Zealander was tiring. Buxton scored frequently and in the thirteenth shook Trowern. For the remaining rounds the New Zealander held on a lot and was cautioned by the referee, but at ilie conclusion be bail a comfortable margin of-points and received popular decision.
