SOCCER PLAYERS INJURED.
WTOI.UMGTON. .Tune 21. p., Turner ami P. Graham. tv.o members of the Canadian Sfocpev team, have returned to Wellington temporarily disabled. The former twisted an ankle at Grevmouth. and Graham was injured in the match at Nelson. llntli will undergo medical treatment there which it is hoped will enable them to rejoin the side for the second test at Christchurch on 2nd July. Turner said Timlin’s wonderful goal keeping was responsible for the Canadians defeat by Westland. They had quite a big part in the game but Timlin was unbeatable. Curiously enough, tihe visitors are feeling the cold very much. In Canada, houses and hotels are internally heated, but in New Zealand they find the interiors so cold, that they cannot sleep.
