There is a flutter of hearts under palace roofs in Tokio these days, an excitement among high-horn maidens consequent upon the announcement from the Imperial Court that a bride is soon to he selected for Japan’s Prince Charming, his Imperial Highness Prince Chiehibu, the eldest brother of the Emperor, who to-day stands next in line to the throne, lacking a son to the Emperor and Empress.
