CHRISTCHURCH, June 18. The conditions could not have been much worse for the football match, Canada v. Canterbury at English Park to-day. There had been heavy rain throughout the night, and the ground was thoroughly wet and heavy, and the afternoon’ was bitterly cold, with occasional showers. Canada won the game decisively by 0 goals tonil, but Canterbury missed several opportunities. MASTEETON, June 19.
