BANFURLY SHIELD

MASTEBTOX. June 10. The Wairarapa Bugliv Union tonight accepted the challenge of Hawke’s Bay Union for the Banfurly Shield match in Mnsterton on Julv 9th. As a large crowd is anticipated, the Union decided to play the match on the Solway Show ground, which was offered by the A. and P. Association at a reasonable rent. Prior to the Shield match. Wairarapa will play home v. ’home games with the Bush Union; the latter of the two games being a Shield challenge. The team for the first game which will he played at Pnhiatun on Wednesday of next week, is the Challenge team which defeated Hawke’s Bay on June 3rd.
