THE ECLIPSE.
(Hv Telegraph—Per Press Association.) THE ECLIPSE. BLENHEIM. June 1(1. A splendid and uninterrupted view of the eclipse of the moon was obtained in Blenheim yesterday evening. The sky was entirely free of clouds a net trio atmosphere crystal clear. At totality the moon presented a smoky appearance as though seen through a glass, darkly, and not entirlv blotted out.
AUCKLAND, June 16. Perfect, conditions prevailed last night for viewing the eclipse of the moon. A reddish or copper colour was observed in the eclipsed moon for some minutes. SYDNEY, June 10. The lunar eclipse was considerably obscured by clouds making telescopic observation unsatisfactory.
