FOUND ALIVE
THE TWO AIRMEN SAFE. NUNGESSER AND COLI FOUND (Australian & X.Z. Cable Association.') QUEBEC, June 15, It is officially reported that Nungesser and Coli have been found alive. THE AIRMAN’S EFFORTS.
Captain Nunesser and his assistant. Coli, hopped off from Cherbourg (France) at 10 a.in. on May Bth. on his journey across the Atlantic to New York, so it is 38 days since lie started. No sign was seen of the navigators crossing the Atlantic, though it was reported that an aeroplane had been heard o/f Newfoundland, hut though search was made continuously no further news of any authenticity was received until yesterday’s cable came to hand stating that forest workers had organised to search St. Germain region, as the result of forest flares having been seen. A DOUBT OF REPORT. VANCOUVER. June 15. Queliec’s Nungesser report came from River Bend in the North Country, but word received from lliere to-night says the news is not confirmed, and there is nothing to indicate a rescue.
