CHANNEL SWIM. PRAGUE, June 13. A mystery still surrounds the swimmer Spacek’s Channel swim. Spaeek stated emphatically on Wednesday that he had certainly established a record, despite the attempt to discredit him. Spaeek repeats ills declaration that the Mayor of Dover was present when he landed, and ho is preparing an affidavit to that effect, but that if his story is not accepted, he will repeat his swim next week.
