ARAHURA FAT STOCK SALE. Yesterday’s fixture at the above yards wa.s attended by the usual buyers. Competition was brisk for good pens of cattle and sheep, prices equalling those of the last fixture. The range of prices for medium finished bullocks being if anything 2s per hundred better. Runners sold well. A big yarding of cows was again in evidence and these sold at varying prices according to the buyers’ fancies. Sheep sold well. Messrs W. Jeffries and Co. .sold as follows: Sheep—For Nolan Bros. 27 wethers at 30s 3d, 50 at 29s Gd. For Jos. Manern. 15 fat ewes at 2-l.s 3d, 28 fat lambs at 17s and 20 at 15s 9d. Cattle—For Poeruin Run. 3 runners at C's 2s Gd. 3 bullocks at £ll, 2 at £ll 10s. 2 at £l3 2s Gd. 2 at £l2. 3 at CIO 2s Gd. 2 at £ls ss. 2 at £ll 10s. 2 at £l3 10s, 1 heifer at £8 15s. 1 cow at £8 ]ss. For IT. Growcott. 2 fat cows at £3 IDs, 2 at £B, 2 at £7, 2 at £6 12s Gd. For J. Messrs M. Houston and Co report:— Our entry at yesterday’s fat stock sale at the above yards consisted of 30 fat cattle and 80 fat sheep. There was a good attendance of buyers with keen competition for all good lines; the hulk of tiie yarding comprised cow beef, which met with a good sale. Good ox beef averaged about 35s to 37s per hundred and host heifer and cow heel about 30s. Fat sheep sold at advanced prices and realized a good sale. We sold as follows : On account of Nolan Bros. 08 fat sheep at 30s, 12 at 29s Gd ; on account of \Y. A. Jamieson. I bullock at £lO, 2 heifers at £7 2s Gd. 2 rows at CG Ills, 2 at £7. 2 at £7 10s, 2 bullocks at £9 15s, 2 cows at £G ss, 2 at £5 2s Gd. 1 heifer at C 8 ss. 1 cow at £' 2s Gd, 1 bullock at CIO 2s Gd, 1 cow nt £5 17s Gd, 1 at £5 17s Gil; on account of (V.
