Nelson MeKnight, the New Zealand boxer (10.5), was given an ovation in the Brisbane Stadium when he outed Les Robson (10.10), the Queensland welter, in the third round. __ Robson swapped punches with him, and paid the penalty in a great fight. SYDNEY, June 12. At the Stadium Tiger Payne beat Sunny Jim Williams on j>oiiits in a hard-fought contest. Payne downed Williams in. the first and third rounds hut found his opponent very shifty and full of fight.
