' (Received this day at 10.15 a.m.l HORTA (Azores). June 11. Be Pinedo resumed his flight. He l’etraced his path to the Island of Flores, where he was forced down, after which lie planned to turn the plane about and 'proceed to Rome, making two stops first at Ponta del Gada, the lnrgest town of the Azores, and the second at Lisbon.
CABLE LAYING. VICTORIA, (8.C.) June 10. The cable ship Restorer has begun laying seventy miles, the last two links of the second cable to Australia and New Zealand. The cable work will lie completed in about a week.
