DAIRY PRODUCE SLUMP. SYDNEY, June 7. The annual conference of the Dairy Factory Managers’ and Secretaries’ Association'has commenced. Delegates from New Zealand and the United States are present as guests. The President, in opening the conference, said that in the past season, as the result of droughts. Inish tires and floods, the price of dairy produce was not commensurate with the work and capital involved, and if. under present conditions, the women and children were withdrawn or debarred from assisting on the dairy farms, the industry would be defunct •in less than twelve months.
