OPENING CEREMONY - . 'By Telegraph.—Special to Guardian). WAIHO GORGE, June -1. The weather was perfect for the opening of the W a ill a Bridge yesterday. Theife was a largo assemblage of settlers and visitors from all parts. Mr Seddon, M.P.. Mr .T. A. Murdoch (County Chairman). Dr. E. Teichelninnn, Mr G. A. Perry (Mayor). Messrs Win. Searle, W. H. Chinn. T. R. Clicsterman (County Councillors). also spoke. Mrs James Graham cut the ribbon. A vote of thanks to the Government for erecting the bridge was carried -by acclamation.

The proceedings were of a very hearty nature. Later those present were entertained at afternoon tea by Messrs Graham Bros and settlers at Waiho Gorge.

WATAROA HALL. The previous evening at Matainlli the Wataroa. Hall was opened at a splendid gathering, by Air Seddon M.P. About 250 were present and the whole proceedings were most successful.
