Nungessor and Coli, is scheduled to hop off on the first of June, following on rigid tests. The pilot is S. Cotton. He plans to fly direct to Channel head, in Newfoundland, to which extra pontoons and food will he shipped by steamer. Pilot Cotton expects to make this liis headquarters, from which lie

will fly daily in an attempt to pick up

some clue of the missing men. He intends to cover thoroughly the section of the country in which it is believed that the flyers were forced to land. His ’plane is powered with a 200 horse-power Wright whirlwind engine, similar to Captain Lindliergh’s. The early tests indicated that this motor is able to withstand a terrific strain such as that to which it would r l>e subjected. Despite public enthusiasm, his mission, it is feared, will prove hopeless.
